Ingredients
#Cake
#- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 20 oz crushed pineapple with juice
Frosting
#- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1-1/2 cups confectioner’s sugar
Directions
#- Preheat oven to 350 F and grease a 13x9 inch pan.
- In a large bowl, mix together flour and baking soda.
- Make a well in the center and add eggs, vanilla and crushed pineapple with
liquid.
- Mix well to blend.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- While the cake is baking, combine cream cheese, buffer, confectioner’s sugar
and vanilla in a medium bowl.
- Beat until creamy and spread on warm cakes.
