Ingredients
#- 1-3/4 stick butter, cut into small pieces
- 1-1/2 cup flour
- 1-1/2 cup quick oats
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- jam (flavor of choice)
Directions
#- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and spray a 13x9 dish with non-stick cooking spray.
- Mix together the flour, oats, brown sugar, baking powder and salt in a mixing
bowl.
- Work in the pieces of butter, either with a knife or your hands, until the
mixture has the consistency of pea gravel.
- Sprinkle half of the mixture in the bottom of the pan and lightly pack it
down.
- Spread the jam over the first layer of oats, making it as thick as you want.
- Sprinkle the rest of the oat mixture over the top and pat it down.
- Bake until light golden brown on top, 35 - 40 minutes.
