Ingredients

  • 1 cup basmati rice
  • 1 cup Toor Dal or Moong Dal
  • 4 cups water
  • 3 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric
  • Achaar
  • Ghee

Directions

  1. Wash rice and dal thoroughly, the place in the Instant Pot.
  2. Add water, turmeric and salt.
  3. Pressure cook on high for 5 minutes, followed by a 10 minute natural release.
  4. Serve with achaar and ghee.
