Ingredients

Shot Glasses

  • 12 jalapeños
  • 2 tbsp tajin
  • 2 tbsp lime juice

Cocktail

  • 1 lime
  • 2 cups strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 jalapeño, seeded and diced
  • 2 oz lemon vodka

  1. Cut of tops of the jalapeños and use a spoon or knife to remove the seeds and whites from inside.
  2. Add tajin to cover the bottom of a small bowl.
  3. Dip each jalapeño in lime juice, then dip in tajin to rim the jalapeño.
  4. Set aside to dry.

Cocktail
#

  1. Zest and juice the lime.
  2. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine lime juice, zest, strawberries, sugar, water and diced jalapeño. Cook for 5 minutes.
  3. Transfer to a blender and pulse once.
  4. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve.
  5. Add vodka and chill.
  6. Pour into each jalapeño shot glass immediately before serving.
