Ingredients

  • 1 can beef broth
  • 1 can french onion soup
  • 2 tsp garlic
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1-1/2 pounds round eye steak
  • black pepper
  • salt

Directions

  1. Cut the steak into bite-sized pieces, mince the onion and garlic then brown in a large pot with the oil until steak is brown and the onions are tender.
  2. Add the french onion soup, beef broth, salt and pepper, then simmer over low heat for 1 hour until the sauce is thick.
  3. Serve with mashed potatoes and green beans.
