Apple Dumplings

Ingredients

  • 2 packages crescent rolls
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1-1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 apples
  • 12 oz lemon-lime soda

Directions

  1. Grease a 13x9 inch pan and set aside.
  2. In a pan over medium heat, melt the butter and stir in brown sugar and vanilla.
  3. Peel and core apples into 8 pieces.
  4. Open crescent rolls and separate into triangles.
  5. Roll a piece of apple into each triangle and place on greased pan.
  6. Spoon melted butter and brown sugar over each dumpling.
  7. Pour soda along sides of pan and in between dumplings but NOT ON THE DUMPLINGS.
  8. Bake at 350 F for 35 minutes.
